Why I started this blog

It has been said (I think by Mark Twain) that common sense is remarkably uncommon. I am continually amazed at the shear lack of it displayed by politicians, the news media, random protestors, and those in business. Every time I hear one of these pundits blather on, I usually end my critique of said pundit with "it's not rocket science." Thus was born my blog.
